The Carnival set for 8th June in line with D Day anniversary and is set to be another great day for everyone. The band line-up is set, the fun-fair hired, and many displays and stalls are already booked.
We do still have places for additional displays and stalls if you would like to be involved. We already have some floats entered for the parade and there is still time for you to put an your own entry – either as an individual or as a group.
We have an extra treat this year with the “Smoking Apples” theatre company, who will bring innovative puppetry and visual theatre to Woodchurch.
This year we have booked a number of fantastic vendors to tempt you with mouth watering foods – something for everyone.
Keep an eye on social media and the website for updates. Please contact us if you want to be involved or volunteer to assist in anyway.

Woodchurch Carnival Parade is inclusive to all. You may be walking alone, in a group or have a float in the form of vehicle mechanically powered or manual powered.
The route is approximately 1.4 miles and around 27 minutes walking time.
The Start point is Rectory Close at 12:00 (midday), marked by blue triangle.
The route passes the two Public Houses (in the past this area has always been a busy view point for spectators). We then pass the Green for the first time and head towards the garages and Post Office down Front Road.
We will turn left at the junction of Front and Lower Road to head back up towards the Green. This area is perceived to be fairly slow.
As we reach the cross roads by the old Scout Hut another left turn to head up the Green road. All vehicles will stop adjacent to the Green on the road, whilst those on foot and other manual transportation can move onto the Green.
Woodchurch Village Shed are building a model plane to help The Carnival remember D Day and the people who gave their lives.
We are raising funds for the Carnival, Woodchurch Remembers and Woodchurch Village Shed so please take a moment to visit the plane in the Hub car park by the commemorative tree during the Carnival and donate.
